What to prepare?
- Read: On the Field of Artistic Research. Here you will find a brief history of the Norwegian Artistic Research Program, as well as notions and insights into the role of research on, for, and in the arts. The page includes mandatory and optional reading and media material on the history and development of the field of Artistic Research, together with links for associated research platforms.
- Hand in: A short bio and a short project abstract, including keywords: Format: Plain text in an e-mail and images in jpeg or similar formats; videos, sounds, and links may also be included. The bio/abstract will be published on this site: Artistic Research PhD students. You can update your bio/abstract as often as you would like by sending us a new version.
- Bring: In the seminar, you will be asked to share your artistic research project in max. 6 minutes. No technical equipment is offered – bring an object, a print, a sound, a movement. Don´t try to tell or show us everything; make us curious, give us a glimpse, or let us understand why the project matters to you.
