The artistic research project MEMORYWORK is exploring performative memory work. It questions whose memories get to count and the ways we remember.

The project was initiated by Merete Røstad and Per Roar as a research collaboration between the departments of Dance and Art & Craft at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts (KHIO) and an international group of artist-researchers, including Eliot Moleba, Manuel Pelmuş and Saša Asentić at KHIO

In this presentation, I will offer a window into this enquiry by sharing an overview and insights from my artistic research process.

My artistic practice draws on choreography and dance, informed by auto-ethnography, ethnographic tools, and performance studies.
