The material you received is light, although this material aspect of it is kind of questionable... In this case, the fairy lights very much have the physical aspect because of the wires and the batteries that are holding the light – the ethereal part of the material – captive. How can you work with both qualities: the boundedness of the metal and the fragile playfulness of the lights? You have the opportunity to make a composition very consciously, arranging the shapes by force, because you have the power over the objects, but experimenting with the dialogue between your intuition and the behaviour of the fairy lights and giving space for things to happen by accident can also reveal new layers of your dream.
