Children of Compost | Installation 24

In Children of Compost - Installation 24, speculative memories are actively narrated between yesterday, today and a tomorrow in the coexistence of humans, animals and nature.
The background is a research project on a renaturalised urban area in Munich.
Burning piles of rubbish, a poison lake, a sunken village, a repressed Roma settlement, numerous citizens' initiatives and the reports of contemporary witnesses are layered to create a multi-layered picture of today's local recreation area.
 
The interweaving of memory fragments buried under the turf, documentary material and fictional rewritings turn to the blind spots, the unsaid and the unseen.
