V. ONE LAST WALK - Nature, the best gallery
On my last day on Björkö, I made a last walk to get a sense of closure and
fulfillment of my stay. I planned to celebrate and appreciate the place that
has inspired me to create a connection between my art and the natural
environment. I wanted to showcase a selection of drawings by choosing
specific spots in the environment and capturing it through videos and
pictures. By placing my drawings on rocks, trees and water, I created for a
moment a dynamic and interactive art installation that merges with the
landscape. I liked how certain layers are suddenly added to the drawings,
allowing myself and viewers to experience the drawings or the site in a
different context.
The videos and pictures I took during this process, serve as a lasting
memory of my time at Björkö and the inspiration it has provided.
