WALKING IN MY ARTISTIC PRACTICE

The practice of walking and observing are a constant importance of my life and art projects.
I understand the act of walking in nature as a metaphor for personal growth, resilience and
reflection. The surroundings are helping me to translate my feelings, memories, thoughts,
sometimes my lack of words, into associative, fragmentary and expressive drawings.
Very often I create visual poems that capture the essence of my questions or themes.
My art practise is a reflection of my philosophy of interconnectedness, a reminder of the
importance of connecting the dots between ourselves, nature and the world around us.

INFO AND ARTISTIC PRACTICE

I have been studying at the University of applied Science, department Design, Illustration,

with a focus on graphic narrations and free drawings. In 2016, I graduated with a Bachelor

of Arts. Freelance work and projects with self-published publications and exhibitions, as well

as commissioned work for various anthologies and magazines, were following.

In 2018, I began to study in an international Master Program in Visual Communication at

Konstfack in Stockholm, which I completed in 2020 with a Master of Fine Arts. My artistic

focus was on interweaving drawings with moving images and objects, and arranging these

technics in an installation.

My artistic practice revolves around themes of queerness, gender identities, nature and

friendships, and to explore these concepts through drawings and objects. Longing,

philosophy, and feminism are additional elements that are incorporated into my artwork. By

combining these elements, my artistic aims are to create a visual representation that

reflects my perspectives and experiences on these topics
