Ethics and artistic freedom in artistic research
Etik och konstnärlig frihet i konstnärlig forskning är den fjortonde upplagan av Vetenskapsrådets årsbok om konstnärlig forskning. För andra året i rad är publikationen enbart på engelska.
De tre första artiklarna är skrivna av huvudtalarna vid det symposium om konstnärlig forskning som ägde rum vid Linnéuniversitetet i Växjö 2016. Symposiet hade samma tema och titel som denna bok.
Den fjärde artikeln är en uppföljning av den artikel om karriärvägar för disputerade konstnärliga forskare som fanns i årsboken om konstnärlig forsning 2016. Denna gång har skribenterna gjort en mer kvalitativ undersökning för att utröna omfattningen av konstnärlig forskning vid relevanta lärosäten i Sverige. Därefter kommer en intervju med redaktören för denna årsbok om konstnärlig forskning. Dessutom presenteras fem projekt som finansierats av Vetenskapsrådet. De tar upp modernitet, samtida poesi, klädsel, gränsöverskridande teater samt barockmusik. De olika projektrapporterna kommenteras av Kommittén för konstnärlig forskning.

Ethics and artistic freedom in artistic research is the fourteenth edition of the Swedish Research Council's yearbook on artistic research. For the second year in a row, the publication is exclusively in English.
The first three articles are written by the main speakers at the symposium on artistic research that took place at Linnaeus University in Växjö in 2016. The symposium had the same theme and title as this book.
The fourth article is a follow-up to the article on career paths for PhDs in artistic research that appeared in the yearbook on artistic research in 2016. This time, the authors have conducted a more qualitative study to determine the extent of artistic research at relevant higher education institutions in Sweden. This is followed by an interview with the editor of this yearbook on artistic research. Five projects funded by the Swedish Research Council are also presented. They deal with modernity, contemporary poetry, clothing, cross-border theatre and baroque music. The various project reports are commented on by the Committee for Artistic Research.
