Camille Norment is Prorector of Research at Oslo National Academy of the Arts (KHiO) and a practicing artist and composer for whom “ethical perspectives” is considered as a contributing development tool. She utilizes the notion of cultural psychoacoustics as both an aesthetic and conceptual framework, defining this term as the investigation of socio-cultural phenomena through sound and music - particularly instances of sonic and social dissonance. Camille is also member of the speciality group established by Universities Norway - Art, Design, Architecture (UHR-KDA) to suggest ethical guidelines for artistic research.
