Linda Herfindal Lien (b. 1974) is a senior adviser at the Directorate for Higher Education and Skills, where she coordinates the Norwegian Artistic Research School. She has been an associate professor of visual communication at the Faculty of Fine Art, Music and Design, University of Bergen, and she has also been a research fellow at the former Bergen National Academy of the Arts. She is a member of the international research group CCFT - Creative Center for Fluid Territories and she has been part of Pictogram-me, a project funded by the national project program for artistic research and later supported by the Research Council of Norway.
