This curatorial project was always already a multitude. A constellation.
In this section, I try to map some of the themes that have resonated and reverberated within the initial project and its retelling via a process of "attentive triangulation." The texts serve as a score for the feeling of working in/with/as/alongside a constellation: a method of diagramming the process, (dis)locating myself, and iterating the ebbs and flows of the journey. It is a way to notate the choreographic in the curatorial, a texture woven from many minor dramaturgies. Much like you might situate yourself in relation to the stars, the view is partial and changes with movement and time.
Sources include my own writing in dialogue with entries from the Online Etymology Dictionary, fragments of artist statements and interviews, text drawn from artists' works, personal correspondence, notes, and references from Beatrice von Bismarck’s Cultures of the Curatorial (pp. 24 & 29), among other sources.
