Mariakirken, the oldest building in Bergen, is a more irregular space than Håkonshallen. The "Mouvance I: Mass" concert took place here. I searched for optimal speakers positions, and ended up with similar a setup to what we did in Håkonshallen; 3 speakers in front of the altar, 5 speakers along the side walkways, behind the columns at each side, 3 speakers at the organ gallery. For most seats in the church, some speakers would be behind columns, projecting indirectly.

The project explores expressions found through interactions between performers of early music and composers. This part of the documentation is focused on the collaboration between Ruben Sverre Gjertsen and Ensemble Currentes, parts where the project has moved outside the field of historically informed performance, and into the experimental field.
