Based on the dream reports and conversations, I composed a typology of dream subjects/ themes divided into 32 categories, as well as a typology of problems/ solutions, also comprising 32 items.
'ELEMENTS' — Tablecloth of Conversation Topics
The first typology, called ‘Elements’ took the form of the tablecloth made of the original Dreamachine template by Brion Gysin, containing 32 most important chemical elements, each symbolically representing a certain theme.
'ARTEFACTS' — Deck of Cards
The second typology, called ‘Artefacts’, took the form of the card deck comprising 32 everyday objects, each representing a certain life situation with a specific problem and a solution (displayed on the next page).
The idea is to use the tablecloth for the fortune telling, so that cards are laid out in a certain orientation towards the topics indicated on the Dreamachine template, creating additional possibilities for interpretations: 32 artefacts in combined with 32 elements amount for 1024 possible life situations in different spheres (see the list below).
