Three Generations Woven Together
By Britta Fluevog
With this weaving, I chose to speak through materials. It involves material from three generations of second-hand clothes, from my grandmother, myself and my daughter. It also involves a variety of natural materials, there is wool died with dye plants from my garden, there is single origin alpaca from an alpaca named Ginger, and undyed wools. It features a range of weaving techniques with lots of textures and has a playful and exploratory.
