Workshop 3 - Learn to use Photoshop's new AI features

Caitlin Wilkinson, Applications Supervisor (Adobe Creative Cloud, IT & E-Learning) at Gray’s School of Art led an online session in which participants got familiar with new AI features in Adobe Photoshop by creating fictional landscapes.

DAY 2 SUMMARY

Malcolm McKie and Kyle Martin led a practical workshop in which we got ChatGTP to write code for simple proximity sensor based builds.

In the afternoon we moved online where Caitlin Wilkinson guided us in discovering Adobe's new AI features.

Workshop 2 - AI Shortcuts to Coding Interactive Art and Design

Malcolm McKie, technician in charge of the West Workshop at Gray's School of Art, created a series of new booklets for this activity which saw participants collaborating with ChatGTP to write code for interactive sculptures.

He was supported by Kyle Martin, RGU's interdisciplinary lead for the research theme Living in a Digital World.

The workshop culminated in a light-hearted group competition. Participants would attempt to roll a cylinder into a proximity zone, triggering a light - an application of what they built during the workshop.
