the day before the play:

make sure your headset and controllers are fully charged

make sure your system is updated and that the sound works - consider plugging in headphones

make sure you have access to a stable wifi
note: if you are on a university wifi, the multiplayer space is likely to get blocked by their firewall. If so, you might have to use your phone data.

read through the play documents again (you do not need to remember the information, but you’ll probably feel more confident with a second read through)
before joining the session:

clear up your space from obstacles you might trip on

put on comfortable clothes

place a sit close to your play area, so you can easily bring it in if you tire during the larp

get water within reach
-
warn people in your space that you need intimacy for a couple of hours

get the pets out if they’re likely to stand behind you
