Countries, boundaries, natural spaces are unknown.

Titles are signs of precise functions, and Prizes grant credibility to their rare laureates. It is common for people with personal relationships to have a private title for each other.  (Sister,  Spouse,  Mother,  Friend  etc...)  Similarly,  wars  regularly  happen  against Enemies.


The government is an obscure Authority, that mostly remains unseen, apart from their actions, which always take place when the whole population is asleep. Likewise, the militia is known to only appear when one's fate is sealed.

 

This experience is freely inspired by Tarkovsky’s movie Stalker (1979).

It is not necessary to have watched the movie to participate, and it is recommended to approach the larp with fresh eyes.

Two expeditions venture the Woods, in hope of finding the “Chamber”.

The two groups mirror each other: they’ve been here at different times but followed the exact same journey.

 

Before reaching the Chamber, they will mark five stops: Doubts, Nostalgia, Disillusion, Despair, Truth.

Far  from  the  big  cities,  nearby  a  bar  in  the  middle  of  nowhere,  there  is  a  highly protected, secluded zone that has the aspect of uncanny woods.

Somewhere  in  the  Woods  is  located  the  Chamber;  a  place  where  one's  truest, deepest desires, come true. Little know about its existence.

 

The  Guides  and  their  trainees,  the  Scouts,  are  the  only  people  that  can  get  their bearings  around  the  Woods.  They  are  believed  to  share  an  intuitive,  seemingly mystical knowledge. When a lost soul finds their way to a Guide, perhaps will they get the chance to go with them to the Woods, to seek the Chamber.
