CREATE EXPOSITIONS IN RESEARCH CATALOGUE

All MA-students, PhD students and researchers at SKH should have a upgraded account in Research Catalogue.

This page will give people at SKH a step-by-step introduction on the process of becoming a member in the Research Catalogue to publishing your exposition. If you scroll down to the bottom of the page, you will find links to more instructions, information about booking workshops and who to contact if you need more help. Good luck!

Step 1: Start by creating an account in Research Catalogue and become a member in our portal

Create a Basic account in Research Catalogue (RC) by clicking on the button ”Register” on the RC website. Enter your name, email and a password. Be sure to verify your email address (you will receive a verification email to your email address), and log in to your Research Catalogue profile.

We recommend you to use your university email address. The email address can be changed later.
Your profile page is hidden until you choose to make it public.

As a member in SKH’s portal you don't need to send in a copy of your ID or passport to Research Catalogue (this is normally neccesary if you are not part of any portal).

Contact us if you are having login problems.

Full account is required to be able to create expositions. Your local admin will upgrade your Basic account to a Full account as soon as we receive a membership request.

To become a member in SKH’s portal, go to your profile page, click on the link “member of” (on the right of your profile picture), select the portal Stockholm University of the Arts in the list and click “submit”.

The upgrade can take up to 48h as it is done manually.

Step 2: Start creating an exposition

Learn how to create expositions by using our instructions or book a workshop.

Short description: Start creating your exposition by clicking on the "Create exposition" button on your profile page. Choose between the Graphical editor (if you would like to work on a large canvas), or the Block editor (enabling you to place media objects in relation to each other, rather than in a fixed position on the page). Find instructions and tutorials on the bottom of this page.

When clicking on the "Create exposition" button you will first choose the editor (graphical or block), then you need to fill in a title, abstract and copyright (your name) to be able to continue. You can change the content afterwards. The abstract should be more than just one sentences.

Your exposition will be private and hidden until you choose to share/publish it.

Step 3: Publish your exposition

If your exposition gets accepted, it will be published and promoted on our portal page. You will find it under “Expositions” together with other published expositions.

A published exposition cannot be edited or deleted.
If you are a student, you may not have to publish your exposition, even if it's finished. Ask your teacher about the process.

Contact us if you have a published exposition that is not visible on our portal page.

Submit your exposition for review if you like to publish it. The exposition should be finished. Go to your profile page and click on the menu-symbol to the right of your expositions caption box. Select ”Submit for review” and then Stockholm University of the Arts in the list. Finish with ”submit”. Your exposition will be reviewed by the library before it is approved for publication.
