The research process was embodied by the students since drawing is also an ice-breaker activity because it invited students to feel free. Moreover, it was also a mindful activity because they connected with themselves. As a performative research tool, it visualized students' diverse voices regardless of their language; they find it ‘cool’ to learn about street art-style characters representing the digestion of concepts and students’ inner worlds.


Ontologically, the affected bodies of the students created affection (Semetzky, 2006, 2013 in Sherbine, 2014: 119 - 122) materializing it in street art style characters.
