My Students and the School Community

The curriculum is the bridge where the theory meets the practice. I believe that students are not too young to understand that social and climate justice impact their contexts. They have different cultural, social, and racial backgrounds and their life experiences can bring different perspectives into our seventh, eighth, ninth, and tenth-grade multicultural classrooms. Yet, this article just condenses a part of a second step to continue addressing social issues and their connections to climate change because these themes are complicated to teach.
