Franziska Hederer studied architecture in Austria and the Netherlands and is associate professor at the Institute of Spatial Design / Raum und Gestalt at Graz University of Technology. In 2015, she completed her habilitation in the field of spatial perception and experimental design, titling her work An den oszillierenden Rändern der Architektur (At the Oscillating Edges of Architecture). In her research and teaching work she operates with artistic practices in architectural design prozesses. She has given talks and taught at the University of Liverpool, the University of Antwerp, KTH Stockholm, the University of Madeira,School of Arts Nova Goriza and the University of Applied Arts Vienna.
