The sound that meets my left ear
comes lilting out of the right one.
Wobbling and bumping the spectrum over brain lobes.
The sound that meets my right ear
comes roaring out of the left.
A slingshot in the head, trajectories through the auricle.
Two ears, duplicates of forms.
No more echoing each other.
Stuck in continuous mutation.
Monomerizing augmentations.
Use of voice
I used my own voice and recorded it three times on top of each other. One of the three voices has been strongly filtered and distorted on order to give the impression as it it was coming from a radio receiver.
The voices also enter with a long reversed reverb - a simple effect typical of the 80s - that is impossible to be created live. It thus points to the artificial nature of its production.
