About this exposition

The attached writing sample is a text from the Landscape Contextual Studies submitted for the degree of MLA in landscape architecture at the University of Edinburgh. By engaging in landscape research through the design process, this research project is theoretically driven and seeks answers to how walking informs a phenomenological approach to scales within the Calanques National Park. The chapter emphasises the trail network and how walking creates a sensory, spatial and temporal way of understanding the Calanques landscape.
