About this exposition

A project that explores the body as a refuge, self-care as a political act of self-determination. Using reflections from Donna Harway's 'Cyborg Manifesto' and the millennia-old knowledge of Chinese medicine, "Camouflage" can be defined as a cyborg dress (according to the definition of 'cybernetic' as an interdisciplinary field between engineering, biology and the humanities). The technology to be empowered is our own body, which is told through a new aesthetic of power, neither feminine nor masculine, which embraces fun and irony as a reversal of bourgeois, technocratic and capitalist mores.
