Sofie Knudsen Jansson (Denmark) lives in Bergen and recently completed her bachelor degree at the ceramics department of Bergen Academy of Art and Design.
Sofie is danish and has been living most of her life inCopenhagenbefore moving toBergen. Recently she completed her bachelor degree at the ceramics department of Bergen Academy of Arts and Design. She started doing art out of an interest for ceramics and sculpture and has slowly turned her attention to installation and performance, medias which now have her main focus.
I'm interested in the space'in between'.The invisible space between people, places and objects. It's in this space that reality is formed and created by the one watching, listening or doing. I'm interested in repetition as a method to question our ideas of reality and time.
What does it mean to be conscious? How is the mind connected to the body?
