The Metaboliser continuously generates visual and sonic forms according to an evolving dynamical system. It is a computational process that digests data sets: their origin or possible interpretations do not matter.
For the Metaboliser data is just a collection of numbers organised in some way that are to be absorbed. Once sedimented in the Metaboliser they affect its very structure thus modifying the
dynamical system at its core and the process that will evolve.
There is no isomorphic relation between the visual and auditory outputs of the Metaboliser and the underlying data. It is not an analysis tool that finds and displays some qualities of its input. Still, the data co-determines the Metaboliser's behaviour since it is radically entangled within its own operations.
