Ybbs 4 Dimensions. Following Performance Practices in Public Space

Fleshies of Ybbs 4 Dimensions

As part of the citizen science projectYbbs 4 Dimensions (by OpenGLAM.at) Performatorium (Olivia Jaques & Marlies Surtmann) has been following a performance, which took place on the 21st September 2024. The performance took the shape of a guided walk through the city of Ybbs/Donau with pre-designed (audio) as well as live performed elements.

Through repetition and actualisation the following of artistic-performative practices allows embodied transmission of artistic-performative practices. In the process of following this performance and its phases of conceptualisation over the course of 2024 we developed fleshies. Fleshies are basically embodied documents which repeat and actualise the followed practices.
