Session 1: Matters of Concern
Since its inception in 2009 JAR has pushed the boundaries to support artists in the publishing of their practice as research. This happened, for instance, through the development of non-linear, multimodal expositions, an advanced peer-reviewprocess, non-English language panels or, more recently, accessible pages. During this session JAR editors will zoom into theheart of the issues, explaining the current approaches as well as highlighting possible developments. We hope to open up aconversation about the values artistic researchers might seek in a journal for the field.
Session 2: Submitting to JAR
In this session JAR editors will respond to all questions related to the submission process. We will explain how submitting toJAR works, what to look out for and what you can expect from us. A short introduction will be followed by a hands-on Q&A session to make the process as transparent as possible.
