The workshop “Embodying Resonance Solo chain” has its base in two research projects that started in January 2024. "Resonance" by Jan Burkhardt, and "Call and response" by Cecilia Roos. In Resonance Burkhardt is researching on music making and dancing especially the experience of moments of „perfect resonance“, when a sense of a synchronicity between in- and output is felt as a collective resonance in space and time. Keywords: feeling tuned, practice of calibration. In Call and Response Roos is researching on what makes us move and how movement can be understood, transacted and transformed between bodies in space. What remains and what do we leave behind. Keywords: participatory sensemaking, care, response and resonance. Burkhardt and Roos had their first research collaboration in  2016 with the research project Gestures of exchangehttps://www.uniarts.se/english/research-and-development-work/research-projects/gestures-of-exchange/ where the aim was to explore dancers' exchange of methods during an artistic process. That led further to the project To let things unfold (by catching the center) https://www.uniarts.se/english/research-and-development-work/research-projects/to-let-things-unfold-by-catching-the-center/ where the aim was to explore how one can perceive and experience each other's methods through sensation. Roos& Burkhardt has now started a new research collaboration based on their years of collaborative experience offering multiperspective reflection. The focus in this initial state of the project is on responsiveness and transformation. The aim of the suggested workshop is to, together with the participants, experiment and explore in what ways one can share, respond to, transform and develop movement practices. This submission corresponds specifically to the theme for the SAR conference when it comes to resonance as a critical tool characterised by reciprocity and mutual transformation. Reference to adequate artistic research projects is added in RC.
