GPT's: Querying the ((Non)Human) with AI
Offers an exploration into the evolving realm of Generative Pre-trained Transformers (GPTs), and their function as interfacing between the ((Non)Human).
At the heart of our discussion lies the concept of General Artificial Language (GAL), a pivotal interface in bridging the communicative divide between the ((Non)Human). We will examine how GAL not only facilitate enhanced interaction but also operates on 'syntelligence' — a coined term capturing the blend of synchronous intelligence between the ((Non)Human).
The presentation continues by projecting a future paradigm in which AI tools no longer perform solely as static input-output devices, but instead operate as Behavioral Media —a new form of media that behaves according to the behavioral demands of users, while also possessing a high degree of autonomy.
On Pitbulls - Emily Huurdeman
On Pitbulls is an essayisitic lecture performance series tha investigates the current political landscape though the narrative of Pitbull’s, including current law, sciences and personal experiences. The goal is to make visible and discuss current frictions in society through a non- human perspective, not coming to a uniform conclusion but to think through the conflicts, paradoxes and problematics. The lecture performance will have an interactive part.
On Pitbulls is the first topic in the research: Essaying as collective performative practice. This research investigates how an essayistic process (essaying) in a performative setting can allow different artistic practices, different knowledge perspectives to interact. The research I will investigate if the essay can get out of it solitude practice and become a collective process. The research will investigate if the essay can get out of the gene definitions and become a performative vessel for transdisciplinary artistic research practices. Not focusing on the end form but on the process of essaying. Utilizing the iterative and critical force of the essay form, juxtaposing many different sources and perspectives.
