INTERVIEWING DIRECTORS ON DIRECTING
AT STOCKHOLM FILM FESTIVAL 2023
In interviews with four female directors on directing actors we were discussing their individual view on actors, how they work with actors and what they expect the actors´work to be. How did they work with the framing of character and action? Is it a choice of image or emotion?And do they identify as an actors´director or a visual director? We discussed character and character work, preparation or relation and finally- what is the story?
