This iDoc is the result of a collaboration between Laura J. Ogden and Keziah Ofori. Laura is a researcher who studies transnational youth mobility. She wrote her PhD (2022) about young people who grow up moving back and forth between Ghana and Germany. Keziah was one of the research participants in Laura's PhD. They travelled together to Ghana in the summer of 2019 – the trip which forms the basis of this iDoc.
Laura and Keziah collaborated on this iDoc by combining their materials (fieldnotes, voice memos, photos, videos, etc.) and talking together about what the trip meant, how they remembered it, and what each other's documentation of the trip made them think about, reflect on, or question.
