Madeleine Olsén Ingefeldt (b. 1995) works with site- or situation-specific sculpture and installation. Their practice originates in social frameworks that dictate how we navigate in different rooms and places. In Olsén Ingefeldts work there is a specific interest in material and immaterial boundaries which often are connected to or takes place in the public realm. Through re-shaping found objects and common situations, they wish to distort the reality in order to experience it anew. Olsén Ingefeldt is a Gothenburg based artist who has a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts at HDK-Valand.
