Klaus Sandvik wrote a etude after the workshop with the composition depeartment at the Norwegian Academy of Music.
I performed it at a presentation for the young members of the Norwegian society of composers.
The composer wanted to investgate the diminished transformation from the "normal" marimba to the "quartertone tuned " marimba. He intentionally pushed me with questions like: Can't you play faster? How does it sound faster?
He scored it with one quartertone down and three quarter tones down after long disvcussions, it is quite easy to read. Everything is taught down.
