The essay, "Tools that Do Not Fit on an External Hard Drive" comes out of giving a series of three presentations to the participating artists working at the Spode Works in March 2013 and spending a week in the area conducting site visits and discussions. The essay is a continuation in locating the history of art in relationship with the history of tools.
