Andrew Brown (1959, UK) lives in Derbyshire. He studied undergraduate level at Nottingham Trent University and his Masters at York St. John University. He is senior lecturer in Fine Art at Nottingham Trent University.
The re-illumination of the Christmas lights in the main courtyard reflects upon the workplace as more than simply an accumulation of bodies performing roles, but as a locus for identity-formation and the sustenance of human relationships. In addition to those in the courtyard, a single Christmas light removed from its original context, has also been re-illuminated and placed in the exhibition space.
