In order to create the balance and cohesion throughout the whole collection, and for a rounded presentation for the graduation show, a sixth sculpture has arrived.
There is something I really like about six sculptures rather than five. With this one, I am planning to make it a deep, mossy green colour. However, to avoid adding more pastel, I won't be staining the fabric but painting directly ontop of it. This way a strong colour is introduced to support the diversity of the group.
The height is also an important aspect. I feel with this sculpture being smaller than the tallest but taller than all the rest, it helps bridge the gap between the small and the tall. I hope you can see what I mean in the images below.
I will add more to the flat sizes of this structure so it has a more full body all the way around.
