This was a deeply frustrating experience. My shift in the preceding twelve months from working with photography to working with video left me unsure how to exhibit the video works I was now creating. Showing them in this way - on video screens in a gallery, with no connection to the site in which they were being exhibited, felt deeply unsatisfactory.
The sense that my practice consisted of collecting and exhibiting fragments of "evidence" was also dominant here and I was acutely aware of this as what felt like a limitation.
