This page archives my solo show at Argentea Gallery, where I exhibited large-scale prints of Young Dancer aged 14 series on aluminium, alongside perspex prints showing the traces of movement. The light traces on the aluminium exposed the material of the metal, so that they glowed when lit in the gallery space.

The curator hung a perspex print of the light traces above the spiral staircased, as she felt that this print mimicked the twist of both the body and the spiral staircase.

Downstairs, I showed my film Swift as a Shadow, projected onto the back wall and a vitrine with polaroid 1-1 double exposure prints. The basement area with it's dark grey walls created a womb-like effect, and viewers often lingered there watching the film on repeat. The soundtrack, by Andrea Granitzio, could be heard softly upstairs, creating an ambience that evoked childhood lullabies.
