This project seeks to create reflection about the complexity of places, as a contrast to simplifying in place branding. Throug co-design I investigate the many (and also hidden) layers of a place. How to add new layers, how to open up for alternative voices? Do also places have a layer of ´fake news´?
The project is based on socio-cultural place analyzes, but the main method is research through design, with great emphasis on experimentation on and off site. The project aims to develope new methods of user-involvment, and to lead to a physical and/or digital visualization of the place´ different layers.
