thinking aesthetic thinking through aesthetic research practices is an artistic research project by Alex Arteaga, Emma Cocker, Nicole Wendel (with Sabine Zahn during the first phase), focused on the ways in which aesthetic research practices realise a specific form of thinking: aesthetic thinking. This exposition shares the research process of this collaborative project tracing its key phases between June 2020 - October 2022 and the gradual evolution of an original research dispositive or apparatus called Ecologies in Action. - Choose a place to be (or simply decide to stay where you are).

- For a while let yourself simply be where you decided to be.

- Take a video camera (it can be the camera integrated in your mobile phone).

- While recording, situate the objective of the camera as close to the surfaces of your surrounding as necessary to avoid that any object is recognisable. In doing so, look exclusively at / through the camera screen. If available, do not use the visor.

- Move very slowly, moved exclusively by your interest and fascination for the images you are seen.
