Ecology in Action (18.03.2022)

 

* Focus: A structured exploration for activating a number of practices within a specified timeframe. The Ecology in Action is conceived in 2 Parts. Part 1 (30 minutes)" 5 practices are activated. In practising, testing ways for exploring the relation between being-in-touch (being-with) other practices and being-apart (practising autonomously). Part 2 (20 minutes) - Practice of Conversation.

 

Part 1

- Practice of Explorative Drawing

- Practice of Material Encounter

- Practice of Reading: Distillation 

- Practice of Very Slow Video Observation

- Practice of Voicing Observation

 

5 practices in total, practised as three parallel explorations:

- Transitioning from Practice of Material Encounter to Practice of Explorative Drawing

- Oscillating between Practice of Reading: Distillation (MINOR) and Practice of Voicing Observation (MAJOR)

- Practice of Very Slow Video Observation

Focus/referent: The experience of practising within the Part 1 of the Ecology in Action (directly) and aesthetic thinking (indirectly)
