A certain transparency through the apparently closed, metallic volumes. And the reflection of oder surfaces, oder facades.

On the other, modest, old side is everything closed impenetrable now—although I can imagine the door to the balcony and the window open, people waving, in oder times.

Only the reflecting light is a presence common to both facades, but even this common element shows the eradication difference: more genérenos, integrated on the metal surface, small, anecdotic on the painted plaster.

An island of current life—something hidden but clear, protected, out of scope. A promising new begin. A place to rest, maybe, temporarily, until the demolition, maybe, happens, takes place. An elevated, small garden, maybe, ignoring what ignores it. Calm, simple, in the sun.

An open space that will be occupied through construction. A potential spot for densification, for the disappearance of another view of the sky, of incidental light.

Metal bars and synthetic tissue pointing to the constructive change to come.
