Minji Kim’s exploration of spatiality goes beyond simply being curious about something that surrounds us – “I don't know still what the fuck it is“ – rather more autonomically defining it, naming it, and eventually creating a better communication and environment.
In that context, she realised that a linguistic approach to spatiality requires debate and solidarity or consensus in the community and that it should be part of her practice.
Within this SIG she would like to experience and learn from each other's various perspectives on Spatial Aesthetics, and, most importantly, explore how research on spatiality from this group can influence society as a form of art.
